We are one of the longest established set on the North Eastern Circuit with a proactive and forward thinking approach. We take great pride in being able to nurture and encourage the development of the junior barristers who join us.
Our members practise in general Civil, Family and Crime across all courts in South Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Derbyshire and the East Midlands and members regularly appear in the High Court and Court of Appeal.
We are looking to recruit 2 Common Law pupils who can demonstrate enthusiasm, dedication and commitment to the profession and to the South Yorkshire area. Candidates must be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the common law and must be able to show a wealth of experience in developing advocacy skills.
Application forms can be obtained from our website and should be sent for the attention of James Gould, our Pupillage Supervisor. All applications should be sent via post and should include a stamp addressed envelope.
