Up to four funded pupillages are available, with awards of £65,000 each. We are willing to advance a proportion of the pupillage award (usually up to £25,000) on an interest-free basis on condition that any advance will be repaid if the pupil does not pass the BPTC exams or complete his or her pupillage.
Candidates should have a first or good upper second-class degree (or at the application stage a reasonable expectation of reaching this standard), good oral communication and advocacy skills, stamina, an ability to work alone and as part of a team and a commitment to a career at the Commercial Bar.
