Chambers is a specialist civil set and undertakes work nationally on behalf of both Claimants and Defendants in its specialist areas of practice.
Chambers is an equal opportunities employer and all applications will be treated in the strictest confidence.
Structure of Pupillage
Pupils will have one Pupil Supervisor for their 12-month pupillage, although as is the normal practice within chambers they will attend Court with a number of members of Chambers. Pupils will sit in on client conferences and deal with paperwork, including legal pleadings, advices and opinions. During the second six months of pupillage, we expect our pupils to be in court on their own cases.
Chambers funding policy for Pupillage will be no less than the minimum award recommended by the Bar Council. The award will take the form of a grant for the first six months of pupillage and guaranteed earnings during the second six months.
