Albion Chambers (General Common Law) - 12 Months - October 2021
Albion Chambers was established over 100 years ago and has an excellent reputation across the Western Circuit for integrity, approachability and the highest quality of advice and advocacy. Chambers comprises 72 members, including 3 Queen’s Counsel practising from our bases in Bristol and Taunton. Whilst specialists in their own fields, the breadth of work undertaken by members of chambers as a whole is unrivalled in the South West. More details about the work we do can be found on our website www.albionchambers.co.uk.
At Albion Chambers we are committed to ensuring that our pupils receive comprehensive and closely-monitored training in a friendly and supportive environment. During a pupillage at Albion Chambers you can expect to experience training under the guidance of at least two pupil supervisors, and the opportunity to be mentored by one of our junior tenants. Above all you will find a welcoming and friendly atmosphere to support you in your learning and practice.
We are offering three pupillages to commence in October 2021, one in family law (children matters), one in matrimonial finance, and one in general common law. Funding in the first six is by way of a grant of £9,250, with guaranteed earnings in the second six of £9,250 although historically our pupils have earned well in excess of this figure.

We are committed to transparency and equality. As such, all applications for pupillage, even those which are exempt, must be made through the Pupillage Gateway.
Candidates selected for interview will be notified by 2 April 2021 with the interviews expected to be held on 24 and 25 April 2021. Offers of pupillage will be made through the Gateway on 7 May 2021.
