We are one of the longest established set on the North Eastern Circuit with a proactive and forward thinking approach. We take great pride in being able to nurture and encourage the development of the junior barristers who join us.
Our members practise in general Civil, Family and Crime across all courts in South Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Derbyshire and the East Midlands and members regularly appear in the High Court and Court of Appeal.
We are offering a common law pupillage to commence September 2021. The pupillage will be funded in accordance with the Pupillage Funding Rules provided at Rules C113 – C118 of the Bar Handbook at £1,360 per month during the none-practising portion of pupillage and guaranteed earnings of not less than £1,360 per month during the second six months of pupillage.
Applicants are invited to submit their application forms promptly and in any event, no later than 12 noon on 26 February 2021.
We have an excellent retention record of pupils who upon completion of their pupillage have successfully secured tenancy.
Chambers operates an Equal Opportunities Policy and we would ask applicants to complete the equal opportunities form in addition to the application form which can be found on the website.
Application forms can be obtained from our website and should sent for the attention of James Gould, our Pupillage Officer. Applications will only be accepted online and should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org
