5 Pump Court is a well regarded multi-disciplinary set with specialist practice areas in family, civil and criminal litigation. We offer a welcoming and progressive atmosphere, good quality training and lots of opportunities for advocacy in second 6. Based in Middle Temple, we are a friendly set with frequent social occasions and a very supportive junior bar.

In 2023, we are offering two pupillages:

1. A common law pupillage providing training in civil, criminal and family law;
2. A specialist family pupillage providing training in private children law, public children law and financial disputes.

Chambers pays a £10,000 award in the first six and guarantees earnings of £10,000 in the second six but pupils can expect to earn comfortably in excess of this amount. Reasonable travel expenses outside Zone 4 in the first six are paid for as are mandatory training courses. We offer a bespoke internal training programme, opportunities to take part in pro bono activities and a supportive and welcoming work environment.
