Description
St Pauls Chambers invite applications for a criminal pupillage. Please note that St Pauls Chambers are also advertising separately on the portal for a 12-month civil pupillage.

In the first six months, pupils will be supervised by a member of Chambers who specialises in criminal work. First six pupils will receive continuing feedback from their pupil supervisor. In their second six months, pupils can expect to receive instructions to appear in court on a daily basis.

Members of our criminal team have been recognised in the Legal 500 2022 edition, with endorsements for their knowledge, approachability, excellence in advocacy and meticulous preparation. Members of the team were also recognised in Chambers and Partners 2022 edition, particularly for their work in financial crime.

St Pauls Chambers believes in hard work and we police ourselves rigorously. To that end, we are seeking an exceptional individual to commence pupillage with chambers in 2023. We are a progressive set and are looking for enthusiastic and talented candidates from all backgrounds. We assess pupillage candidates based on their understanding of our work, academic/intellectual abilities and loyalty to our set. We value oral and written advocacy skills as equally important and we will be expecting exceptionally high standards to complement our successful reputation.

St Pauls Chambers was voted a Legal 500 ‘Leading Set’ in 2022 and prides itself on the expert advice and representation its members provide. We take professional development seriously and nurture the talent of our pupils from the moment they join chambers by monitoring their progress closely.
