Central Chambers invites applications for 3 pupillages commencing in October 2022, April 2023 and October 2023.

Central Chambers is well-established in the heart of Manchester city centre; we are a mixed Criminal and Civil set.
The pupillage will be a common law pupillage with a focus on family and crime. The successful applicant will gain experience in all areas including crime, family, civil and immigration. Following completion of their first six the applicant will continue a mixed practice, focussing primarily on family and crime, however, there would scope to engage in immigration work as well.

Applicants selected will be invited for interview.

The Interview process will consist of two rounds an initial short interview and, for those successful, a second longer interview which will include an oral advocacy exercise and a written exercise to assess potential.

Interview rounds are to be held in line with the Gateway timetable with offers made on the mandated date of 6 May 2022.

The pupillage will be with a view to tenancy.
