Description
Devon Chambers is an expanding Common Law set. Founded in 1979 Devon Chambers has grown significantly in recent years. Devon Chambers is a set of barristers, based in Plymouth, who provide expert advice and advocacy services throughout the South West and beyond. Our members provide experience and expertise in all areas of Common Law. We have specialist practice teams that cover crime, family, regulatory, personal injury, commercial, property, housing, local authority, employment and police and prison law. In addition, many of our members work in other areas such as immigration, employment, courts martial, contract disputes, consumer credit, insolvency, equity and trusts, inheritance, intellectual property, planning and holiday claims.

Devon Chambers regularly conducts CPD training courses for solicitors and the bar. In addition, members have embraced the opportunities now available to undertake work on a Direct Access basis. The successful applicant will be expected to be a team player whilst possessing the necessary skills to work on their own.

Devon Chambers is acutely aware that the legal landscape is changing, however, we are certain that we have the experience and ability to take advantage of these changes to ensure that members of Devon Chambers continue to provide quality advice, assistance and advocacy for many years to come.

In seeking a pupil to begin in October 2014, Devon Chambers is demonstrating its commitment to steady and measured expansion. The successful candidate must demonstrate their ability as an advocate and a commitment to the Bar and Devon Chambers.

How to apply
